I swallowed a Cantaloupe!

20 weeks!!! We're half way there and baby Reid is the size of a cantaloupe! I can't believe how fast it seems to be going by...some days slower than others:) This weeks marks a HUGE milestone in our pregnancy. Monday, we had our 20 week ultrasound and baby Reid cooperated with a spread eagle! We asked the Dr. to write the sex in a card instead of announcing it to us. The card is sealed and waiting for Friday to reveal who our precious baby is! Duncan's birthday is Friday and we'll be going to dinner where we'll open the card. I've also ordered him his favorite cheesecake that will have pink or blue in the center for our special announcement....but that's a surprise! (Good thing he doesn't read the blog)!

My friend Becca, who makes the BEST cakes EVER received her secret envelope last night revealing the sex of our baby....I can't believe she gets to know before us. I feel like I'm waiting for Christmas morning. Friday will be so exciting...Will it be Autumn or Hudson? WE CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT!!!

Happy Growing!

It seems like every morning when I wake up and look at my belly it has magically grown!! It's so amazing to think of our little miracle safely tucked away in my belly, we are so in love!

In 2 weeks we have our 20 week appointment and if our little one cooperates we'll find out if we're having a boy or a girl! I can't believe that we'll be able to call him or her by name and start planning our nursery. We go to the doctor on the 25th but instead of having her tell us right there, we're having her write it down in a special card. The 29th is Duncan's birthday so at a romantic dinner with just the two of us we're going to open the card together to reveal what God has blessed us with. Waiting 4 days knowing that our baby's sex is written in a card will be like waiting for Christmas morning!

We'll be revealing the news to our family and friends on Saturday at Duncan's birthday party! Boy or Girl??? What do you think Baby Reid is?
